I am a Lecturer in Linguistics in the The School of Language, Literature, Music and Visual Culture at the University of Aberdeen. My main research interests are centred on perceptual dialectology, sociolinguistics, and Scots language issues (with a special interest in North-East Scots/Doric).
In addition to my own research, I have recently been working as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to Prof. Michelle MacLeod on the AHRC ‘Future of Languages Research’ project.
